・The United States is the most affected country, accounting for 39% of the victims, followed by Japan with 13%
・The Manufacturing sector is the most impacted, representing 15% of the claimed targets, followed by the Gov / Mil / LE sectors with 14%
・Overall, the claimed compromised data amounts to approximately 22.878 terabytes.

🇯🇵Japan - Casio (カシオ計算機)

Underground ransomware group claims responsibility for the attack on Casio.

Allegedly, 204.9 GB of data were exfiltrated, including confidential documents (社外秘), legal documents, personal information of employees, confidential NDAs, employee payroll, patent information, financial documents, project details, and incidents.

A sample has been provided.

As we previously posted, Casio Computer Co., Ltd. experienced unauthorized access to its network on October 5, 2024, resulting in a system failure that disrupted some services.

🇯🇵Japan - Saizeriya (サイゼ)

The ransom deadline has expired, and the ransomware group RansomHub has published all the stolen data belonging to Saizeriya.

Based on the file data, the exfiltration occurred at least on September 27th.

🇯🇵Japan - Kanagawa Prefectural Sewerage Public Corporation (神奈川県)

On October 9, 2024, the Kanagawa Prefectural Sewerage Public Corporation experienced a ransomware attack by the Black Suit hacking group (the same group behind the KADOKAWA attack), infecting its internal network system. The infection affected a server and two PCs at the Yanagishima Water Reclamation Center.

Personal information stored on the server, including data related to school competitions, tour applicants, Sewerage Festival participants, and employee recruitment, may have been exposed.

🇯🇵Japan - Yorozu Corporation

The RansomHub ransomware group claims responsibility for the attack on Yorozu Corporation.

Allegedly, 849 GB of data, including confidential documents and contracts with car manufacturers such as Nissan, Honda, and Toyota, technical documentation, budget reports, production technologies, accounting documents, insurance records, HR files, databases, and development files, were exfiltrated.

Ransom deadline: 31st Oct 2024.

On October 14, 2024, Yorozu Corporation confirmed a ransomware attack that encrypted files stored on multiple servers, making them inaccessible.
