Vessel reports splash, loud bang near bulk carrier north of Abu Dhabi
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) shipping security monitor says it has received
a report of an incident 36 nautical miles (67km) north of Abu Dhabi in the Gulf and southwest of the
Strait of Hormuz. The master of a vessel reported a splash and a loud bang in close proximity to a bulk carrier, it said.
